Babysitter & First Aid,CPR,AED Training (Ages 11-16)

$75.00Syndicate Energy is proud to offer a comprehensive 2-day training program designed to equip youth participants preparing to become babysitters with the skills and confidence to provide safe, responsible childcare by expanding their caregiving and emergency response knowledge.
8 hours total, split between two 4-hour sessions
Day 1 – 8am – 12pm – Babysitter Training Course
Day 2 – 8am – 12pm – Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Course
**Please arrive by 7:55am each day to ensure on-time start of 8am.
Monday, June 9, 2025, 8am – 12pm – Babysitter Training Course
The American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training program is designed to provide youth ages 11-16 who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to give care safely and responsibly to children and infants. The goal of this training is to help participants develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business; keep themselves and others safe; and learn childcare skills and basic first aid. This certification is good for 10 years.
Tuesday, June 10, 2025, 8am – 12pm – Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Course
The American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED program is designed to help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing, and first aid emergencies. This course also teaches participants the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person when minutes matter and to decide whether advanced medical care is needed. This certification is good for 2 years.
Certification
Upon successful completion, participants will receive 2 wallet-sized certification cards for both the Babysitter Training(10 year cert) and First Aid/CPR/AED(2 year cert) courses. They will also be emailed their certification from Red Cross. Upon completion, participants will also receive a take-home personal first aid kit & a Babysitters Training take-home Handbook.
Method of Instruction: Lecture, video, group discussion and hands-on training with mannikins.
Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites for this course.
Target Audience: Youth ages 11-16 who are planning to babysit.

FORKLIFT & FRONT-END LOADER TRAINING
Students will become familiar with general instructions regarding inspection, application, and operation of each specific equipment. Please note that each student must provide their own equipment for the practical training portion that follows the in class portion. We usually run our heavy equipment training class on Friday but it is flexible and can be scheduled upon request.
Motor Elevated Work Platform
Students will become familiar with the general instructions for operators regarding inspection, application and operation of AWP equipment, including recognition and avoidance of hazards associated with their use as covered in ANSI/SIA Standards A92.3, A92.5 and A92.6. We usually run our motor elevated work platform training class on Friday but it is flexible and can be scheduled upon request.
Respirator FitTest
